Beach 69 is a gorgeous cove that's worth visiting at least once on your trip to the Big Island. It's great for snorkel, lounging and boogie boarding. It is on the cusp of the oceanfront neighborhood of Puako. You will find plenty of parking and a nice sandy beach with few rocks or ocean debris. This beach is a lot like and very close to Hapuna and it's other sister beach Mauna Kea Beach. All three pristine beaches are open to the public and certainly worth the visit. They are the picturesque beaches one envisions when thinking of Hawaii.
