Lapakahi State Historical Park is an ancient fishing village that dates back more than 600 years. There is a sign post with a detailed map of the trail that loops around the park bringing you near the shore and also shows you how ancient Hawaiians lived.  The walk to the shore is short about the same distance as it is from Hapuna. You will find parking at the top and it's wise to get there early to avoid the crowds. It's a magical location and a great place to snorkel. For directions on how to get there simply click launch navigation and your mobile or computer's navigation app will automatically load directions for you. Be sure to bring water shoes as the shoreline access is rocky.
